Join Robert Rich for his first Sleep Concert in the USA since 2003!
Robert Rich’s Sleep Concerts are immersive all-night shows, featuring a synthesis of found sound, prepared drones, and live instrumentals at very low volumes, very slowly. He first performed his legendary Sleep Concert in 1982: an all-night happening meant to sustain hypnogogic states in sleeping audiences. Rich accesses the trange liminal zone between sleep and wakefulness: the music becomes a thread of consciousness that you can use to guide yourself into a state of half-sleep and notice the way that your brain shifts perceptions into an internal world.

The event extends from midnight until 8:00AM.
Please bring something comfortable to lie on (a sleeping bag!), and prepare to explore deep interior spaces in a rare communal setting.
