Sam Conran demonstrates and discusses his Kabbalistic Synthesizer.
The Kabbalistic Synthesizer is an alchemist’s approach to sound making, and ultimately a project that seeks to understand and debate the psycho-social implications that occur when science is experienced and accessed through a commercial medium. How can ‘sonification’ be combined with the synthesizer to access and objectify the unknown? The Kabbalistic Synthesizer.
The project has ultimately been a quest to understand sound’s utility in society and speculate that artificial intelligence and machine listening could be present in the way we might start to interact and value our environments.
