Ron Poznansky, one half of the house duo Cosmic Kids, has been influenced by sound and design his whole life. Putting a burgeoning music career on hold, Ron left Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue a Human Factors graduate degree in the Bay Area. He later traveled to Austin and took part in IBM’s Maelstrom and Design Camp programs, managing to squeeze DJ gigs in throughout. These days he veers more toward ambient music, but in the past he’s played alongside LCD Soundsystem, Holy Ghost!, Juan Maclean, Dâm Funk, The Rapture, Classixx and more. In Ron's down time you can find him trying to pick up numbers stations on his ham radio in the forest, leaving cookie crumbs wherever he goes. He currently lives in San Francisco and designs for IBM.
