Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg might be best known as Bloodshy & Avant, a production duo who have worked with Britney Spears, Madonna, and Kylie Minogue. The pair won a Grammy for for Best Dance Recording in 2005 for their work on Spears’ “Toxic.” Andrew Wyatt is a writer and producer who has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, from Michael Tighe to Spank Rock.
Together, Karlsson, Winnberg, and Wyatt form Miike Snow, an indie electro-pop trio. Their first album, the self-titled Miike Snow, was released on Downtown Records in 2009. In 2012, they founded their own record label, Ingrid, with Lykke Li, Dungen, and Peter Bjorn and John, and released their second full-length album, Happy to You. The group’s third album, iii, is slated for release in early 2016.
