Patricia is the main solo project of prolific Brooklyn-based, Chicago-born producer Max Ravitz. A prominent artist in the L.I.E.S. continuum, Patricia has a pair of albums released for Opal Tapes, an EP on Spectral Sound, and an increasing body of collaborative work: Masks (with Arp), Inhalants (with Jahiliyya Fields), Pulpo (with Bookworms), DSR.MR (with Cloudface), and others. Initially emerging with a sound that arrived closer to the hazy house of Terekke, with added acid elements, over time Patricia has drifted into harder, darker territories.  Ravitz makes tracks that sound as if they can only exist in a physical place—whether they're spinning around on a dusty 12" or thumping against your chest in a crowded basement club, Patricia's rough-edged tunes are tailor made for tangible, real-life experiences.
